Borax is also effective to get rid of mold growth. It can work well for cement and walls. Mix about one cup of borax to a gallon of water. Use a scrub brush to clean the place completely. Wait a few days and if there is a dusty residue, vacuum it off. Do not put vinegar and borax together because they can neutralize each other and become useless.
