House appraisals can be a good or bad thing depending on how a home has been maintained. If you want to sell your home, you want the appraisal to be as large as it can be.

The easiest way to make the most out of your appraisal, is to do as many small fixes yourself to save money because if you have attic or roof damage, these issues could need to be repaired before you can sell your house.
