While it is true that when you use a digital camera for photos or video, you can still choose to take it to your local developer and get your prints or DVDs made. Sometimes you can use their equipment and do your own photos, or they can do it times while you wait in some cases.
The alternative to that is to do your own digital stuff at home on your computer. With a little practice, a printer and DVD burner, you can become quite good at printing and copying your own digital photos and video. Number one, it can be so convenient and number two, it is a lot of fun. You can make changes, improvements, and crop your digital photos to your satisfaction before you print them. You can edit your video and add music before you burn your DVDs. It is a great to use your own personal touches for these things.
If you have an internet connection through your cable, satellite, or phone service, there are ways to send your stuff to someone else and have it done if you wish, but you would miss all that fun. Another advantage of digital photos and video is that using your internet connection, you can send these photos and video by email or instant messaging to anyone else with internet access. This is one of the most fun and fastest ways to share your images with friends and loved ones.
