Acid reflux food to avoid is not really complicated once you become aware of specifically which foods to avoid.
I remember the first time I felt acid reflux. My first thought was, what did I eat? It took me a while to figure out other people actually experienced the same thing. Once you learn what foods to avoid it becomes second nature to you.
If you are like me and many others there will be times when you crave a food and want to eat it no matter what the consequence. Just pick yourself up and get back on track. Do not kick yourself; just get back up start again. No big deal.
First food to avoid that causes acid reflux is acidic food. Yeah, I know you like your oranges, lemons, tomatoes, and the likes.
I happen to love acidic food. But I also know the price I have to pay if I eat them. It only makes sense to stay away from foods that create more acidity in your body, right.
Maybe you can get away with a couple of nibbles every now and then. Only you can decide what you are going to do, just be aware of the results ahead of time.
Second stay away from fatty foods. You know, like steaks that have that high marble look. Just cut the fat off. Of course fatty foods include butter, pasta, sour cream ice cream, milk, and those chicken nuggets we all liked deep fat fried.
This one is pretty tough but you can discover what you can and cannot eat. Again if you just have to eat the above be cautious. You will soon figure out which foods impact your acid reflux the most and the least.
Third thing is to avoid coffee. Some people are really affected by coffee, both caffeinated and decaf. I am told it not necessarily the caffeine but other ingredients in the bean. If you drink a cup and acid reflux kicks in you will know you should avoid it.
These are 3 things that cause acid reflux and thus acid reflux food to avoid. Nothing is easy when you first get started, but it does get easier with time and a little effort. If you start and fail, do not get bent out of shape, just pick up where you left off.
Like anything, you have to just keep going even if you fail along the way just keep making your way to your goal. So do not get discouraged and quit, get discouraged and keep going until you achieve your goal.
As you become consistent it will become automatic for you!
