An inflatable bed is also known as an air mattress. You can pump air into these mattresses and the mattress will simulate what a bed is like. They can be very useful in many different situations, I'm going to inform you a little bit about these products.

The material that these inflatable beds are made of is rubber or textile-reinforced plastic. Nonetheless, these mattresses are quite sturdy and can take a lot of wear, but due to the air pressure inside of them, if you over-inflatable them or are not too careful with how you lay on them, a hole could possibly be made.

The most popular uses for these mattresses are for camping, since these are very compact and can fit into small areas, all while not being a burden to take with. They are also very popular for when you have guests for the night and they need somewhere to sleep besides the couch. Another option for these beds are full-time use as a bed, since they are very easy to move, deflate and inflate, if you are short on space or money these products are a great alternative.

The term used for camping beds and whatnot is sleeping pads, and they have a layer of foam insulation that is put under the air chambers. There are higher quality air chambers that are used for the best inflatable bed used permanently in a home. These are constructed with volcanized rubber, covered of polyurethane or in canvas and then installed into a cloth shell or tic. These books attain the look of a standard bed, but with a hose or two at the head.

The ones that have one are typical and the air is distributed through the mattress evenly. But the beds that have two valves are designed for two people sleeping together, and each side has their own air pressure so that one person that have a very firm bed and the other can have a soft bed.

Certain brands sell certain kinds of air mattresses, with some specializing in permanent use, others in camping, and guest use as well. Some very popular brands that can you find for temporary use and more as well are the aero inflatable bed and the intex inflatable bed. Along with other brands like Coleman, Air Cloud, and Wenzel, it is hard to determine the best inflatable bed.

Sizes vary in just about every size that a standard bed can be found in, from the smallest being twin to Regular King, California King, or Western King. Nowadays an even bigger standard bed is available that is big enough to take up entire rooms, but not many companies even carry those for regular beds.

The measurements for the Twin are 38x75, and the Twin XL at 38x80, these are best suited for one person, and one person only. Theres not much room to move around, so these beds might not be the best option for a permanent situation, but temporarily they should have no problems doing their duty as a place to sleep.

A suitable size for a single sleeper would definitely be the Full at 54x75 which can give one person a lot of room to spread out and not be squashed. The Queen at 60x80 is big enough to comfortably fit two people, and is excellent for temporary stays or permanent beds.

Last but not least you have the Kings, the Regular King (also known as the California King) at 76x80, and the Western King at 72x84. Most people decide on the California King unless someone is extremely tall and needs that extra four inches so their feet don't hang off the bed, because the extra four inches wide is a little more comfort for anyone.

Now that you know all about inflatable beds, what it takes to be the best inflatable bed, and some popular companies that make these beds such as intex and aero, you now have the tools and the ability to make your decision on what air mattress you want to purchase. So good luck with your findings, and make sure to always do in-depth research on the product itself to try and find customer reviews.
