Body kits come in all different styles, types, makes, models, concepts, and especially prices. As special and important as all of the other aspects may be, when it comes down to it, something has to be affordable, at least with your lifestyle.
I'm going to write a little bit about some of the most affordable body kits that you can find, what makes them so inexpensive, and give you a little insight on the products themselves.
Lets start with Mazda Miata body kits. First off I would like to let you know ahead of time that there is not going to be a large selection or variety for that matter of this body kit. The reason for this is because the demand for these body kits are not as high as other cars such as the Honda Civic or Ford Mustang.
But that's okay. You can use that to your advantage. Basically, what all of this means is that since there is little competition, there is a less range of prices and no one is trying to make the big buck off of these products.
Almost all of the Mazda Miata's body kits will run you under $300. Now, there is good and bad parts to this. The bad part is that if you are looking for the next extreme body kit that has flares that stick out like crazy and make your car look for futuristic and modified than any car on the street, you won't find it.
The good part is that these body kits are simple, but get the job done. They aren't the fanciest pieces that you are going to find in the body kit market, but at the same time you will be saving a lot of money and still getting the same effect of improving your car's look.
Even though a body kit is simply a piece of material that is added onto your car to improve the look of it, there still can be a bad product. Thus you should always take the time, a good chunk of time, and never forget to do your own research. Make sure the seller is legit, you don't want someone promoting faulty products that you don't know about. Often times in the business of modification and racing you will find a lot of false hope and guarantees.
If you've ever seen the "gain 50 horsepower in 10 minutes with $19.99", it doesn't work. You have to be weary of deals like this when it comes to body kits, if something sounds too good to be true, it very well maybe, so do some deeper research. Better yet, find user reviews on the products to get others peoples opinions. If you can't find any other information about the product, then maybe it's not so good after all.
As well as the manufacturer of the body kit, don't get stuck in those situations where it's a "built upon order", where you can't get a refund regardless of the product you receive. You want to check out to see if they have a website, read online and find reviews, do everything you can to ensure your purchase is a good one.
Let's move on to the Nissan Sentra body kits. There are so many different styles of the Nissan Sentra it is sometimes hard to remember them all, from the se, to the SE-R, to the es, to the standard Sentra, it's almost as bad as the honda civic with DX, LX, EX, Si, HX and all of them in between.
Nissan Sentra's haven't always been known for there ability as fast cars, but they definitely have proven themselves over the years to sell good, provide good gas milage, and overall be great cars to drive. But, don't be surprised if you see a tricked out Sentra that can smoke a Mustang GT with ease.
Personally, for a while there, I think the Nissan Sentra was very lacking on the style of the car. The nasty spoiler and curved corners did not look good at all, and even the body kits didn't make it look better, it was just a waste of money. I'd prefer that if your going to spend money on a body kit, make sure its when they had style.
As far as pricing goes, you definitely won't find one as cheap as the Mazda Miata, it seems that there is a pattern, the less raced out a car can be, the less the body kits cost, that seems to be the way it goes.
Remember, do your research and don't get stuck buying from a company thats going to rip you off, otherwise you'll never want a body kit. Even something as simple as a plain flare or body kit can do wonders to your car, so don't worry if your kit isn't the most expensive out of the bunch, you're making an improvement one way or another.
